According to etymology, ANHYPEN derives its name from the symbol 'hyphen' (-), that creates new meanings including "Connection, Discovery, & Growth". Similar to how a hyphen connects different words to discover new meanings, ANHYPEN aims, “to come together to connect, discover and grow together to create a new act.”Formed by H67 Entertainment, The group's name ANHYPEN was introduced on November 27th 2020, consists of seven different boys connect to discover one another and grow together. They also have an ambitious plan to connect people and the world through their music. ANHYPEN debuted on January 16th 2021 with the Extended Play (EP) Boundary : Dusk Till Dawn.
